Microhardness and Fracture Resistance of Radicular Dentin Treated with Different Concentrations of Calcium Hydroxide in Endodontic Regeneration Procedures

Purpose: to reveal the effect of different concentrations prepared calcium hydroxide pastes (70%, 50%, and 30%) used in regenerative endodontic on microhardness fracture resistance radicular dentin. Material methods: Different (Ca(OH)2) were with measured pH, then forty eight single rooted teeth randomized into three groups according Ca(OH)2 paste (12 samples each) 12 availed as control group. Group I: root canal contained 30% paste. II: 50% III: 70% Samples stored at 37 0C 100% humidity for four weeks subsequent tests. Results: There was a statistically significant reduction between test group (P≤ 0.05), III showed both compared I. However, there no difference pH concentration Ca(OH)2. Conclusion: Increasing can negatively affect dentin revascularization procedure.
